Ron and Becky are also AWESOME! We drove into Alexandria on Sunday. We missed I79 coming down and decided to take the scenic route (it was beautiful, I miss PA). It took us a tad longer though and then we hit DC TRAFFIC...at 5 on a SUNDAY. ugh, it took us forever to get to their house. But we made it and they had some beer waiting for us:) So we unloaded AGAIN (the whole truck this time) and set up camp in their guest room. On Monday, Ryan got up and took the truck to the Baltimore shipping place, got a ride to the airport and rented this "fancy" van:) We loaded it and set off to the air port 4 and 1/2 hours early.

Ron and Becky in front of their very very cute house!

This is where the our luck sets in:) Becky and I were talking about being positive and if you have positive thoughts positive outcomes happen. I have been anxious about this flight since I found out we were moving to Germany...so needless to say I was a tad scared..(just wanted the boys to be good and not irritate people) So we roll into the airport-WITH POSITIVE THOUGHTS-, Ryan calls the AMC to find out where we were supposed to go. The guy there informs Ryan that the flight got moved up 3 hours (it was supposed to take off at 12:30 am and got switched to 9:00o pm) it was 7:45 and there was no way we were unloading and getting checked through in that short amount of time. Apparently there was a glitch in the system, a miscommunication:) They said Little Rock TMO (Travel Management Office) was supposed to call us...but when we called Little Rock, they said they never recieved a call. ANYWAY, back to Ron and Becky's we go. (we did try and get a hotel really close, but ofcourse, all pet friendly ones were booked). The guy at the counter got us on a flight on Tuesday - but not the pets. So we went back to unload and PRAY that someone with pets canceled.
