So we loaded up AGAIN:) and headed to the airport. Holy moly we have a LOT of crap! We pulled into the airport again got a cart and a dude to help and rolled all our stuff to the check-in. Ryan left to return the van and we hung out and watched guys check in who were deploying:( Thinking more positive thoughts...at least Ryan was not deploying. The counter guys came up to me and wanted to start checking us in-told them our sitution and we were rolling...they got us on the plane and there was room for both pets (but sylvie had to go under the plane) but at least we were all going together...while checking all pet paperwork they discovered the base vet gave us 2 dual language (one in german) sheets for Morgan and none for Sylvie. soooo...after calling base, the vet we go to, and the vet in Iowa (none of them could help) Ryan had to take Sylvie, take a $125 cab, get a $100 cat check, and return with her papers. BUT WE ALL GOT ON!! wooohoooo!
all our stuff. We will travel much lighter on our way back-probably didn't need 1/2 the stuff.
