Little "T"

As I posted earlier, our Little Wichita State Point Guard passed away on Valentine's Day. Although Gabe was only 2 and 1/2 weeks old, we decided to make the trip to Topeka, KS to pay our respects to Tisharria and her family. It was one of the saddest trips I've taken. BUT, it was so worth it and so so good to see all the girls. I wish I would have gotten a few more pictures of everyone, there were a lot of girls that I missed. I miss them and the relationships I've built through athletics.

me, Amy, Jen, Jessica, Raeven, and Brook

We left on Thurs. and stayed in KC with Jenny. The weather wasn't so great, Jenny got out of school early and it was canceled on Friday:) Glad we got to spend a little extra time with her on Friday morning. we got adjoining rooms with Bourcy her kiddos (Traber, Hayden, and Keylee) and Raeven. Here is Ryan playing with Cole and Hayden (a.k.a haynee-monster:)

Happy Valentines Day
Cole and his new "EE EEEE"
We had a great Valentine's. Cole went to Mother's Day out and Ryan and I got to hang out with our new lil man.
On a sad note, one of my old Wichita State Basketball players was killed in a car accident today. Tisharria was a freshman when I started there and was a bit of a hypochondriac. Needless to say, she was one of my first friends (since she was always in the athletic training room). She had a very outgoing personality and was not afraid to show it:) very strong willed and we butted heads from time to time:) She was just married 3 weeks ago and expecting her first baby in July. She was planning on coming to Little Rock to walk the 5K when the rest of her "White Family" came to do the 1/2 marathon. It is so hard to believe that she is gone. RIP lil T.

Day 2 & 3

Here he is:) Gabe James. We finally decided on a name 2 days later:)
Looks to me like he might have some darker features than Cole. His eyes are so big and brown:) LOVE IT.
We could have gone home on Wed the 9th, but there was a huge snow storm and it had us snowed in at the hospital. It's probably best we stayed an extra night. This c-section has been a little harder on me than the first one.
This pregnancy and post pregnancy, I've been IN LOVE with hot tamales and anything cinnamon really. :) This pic is for my friend Courtney, who shares in my love for candy:)
More Gabe
Finally up and about, got a shower and feel much better!
Jason holding the lil munchkin. Him and his wife Kendra came all the way from Germany to meet the lil man:) Just kidding..they were in town for some training for Jason. We were very happy to see them and happy they stopped by. We can't wait to join them in the foreign land:)
