well, the swing is up! however, Cole is not digging it that much. we'll keep on practicing:) need to get a video of his scared face. ;)

teeeth, etc

so Cole has about 3 and 1/2 teeth 2 on the bottom and 1 and 1/2 on the top. he is loving chewing on his crib. We need to get a protector thing for it. When I got him out of bed yesterday there was a little chunk out of the wood on the top and on the side. :) man. lil punk.

He spent most of the day today outside with Ryan and I. I cleaned out some of the flower bed. Cole helped. He was mimicking me and picking a weed and throwing it over his shoulder. so funny. He also got a new tree swing (thanks Daddy) he was napping when we hung it out there so we'll give it a try tomorrow. I hope he likes it.

We are starting to think into the future a little bit. Need to get our house somewhat in shape so it's ready to put on the market in a year or so. We went to Lowes today and spent a ton. Trying to work on the small details. Need to do A LOT to the front yard. Thinking about getting rid of all those big rocks out there. We'll see what we come up with and what we can afford, that's the real deal.

It was nice to get outside today and get some things done. Loved the warmer weather! I'm excited for spring. Lots of flower beds to clean out and get into shape!

Sorting the mail. We put all the junk mail and papers in here to be shredded, or lately burnt in the fireplace. Cole LOVES to "organize" the papers.

seems Cole is getting quite lazy these days...might hook this sippy cup up to the wall and just keep it filled so he can get a drink whenever he wants. at least he is drinking out of the cups and straws well.

Ryan and I have been working on high five's with Cole! He has them down and does them sooo well....however, we can't seem to catch it on video. We'll keep on trying. We are still reading books! love them:)

10 months! Holy Crap!

I can't believe this little monster is going to be a year old in 2 short months. Time really goes too fast. Trying to take in every moment with him.

SNOW DAY or 3

WELP, Little Rock got a lil white stuff this week. We woke up on Monday morning to a few inches on the ground! REAL SNOW! It snowed most of the day and then it kinda turned to rain. lots of slush. Then it froze:) SOOO, we haven't been out of the house for a few days! We did have some fun playin with the neighbors!

Ryan finally made it home after 2 weeks of training! Hooray, help! Cole warmed right up to him, like he never left! Hoooray HELP! We are happy to have him home.

Cole has been playing with the windows lately:) Looking out and talking to whatever is out there:) One of the windows knocked him down the other day and gave him a bloody lip, poor guy:( all is well now, as you can see he's kissing the window and making up!

Most Wednesday's some of us mom's get together and have lunch at Taziki's (a greek restaurant that gives a 50% military discount!) This Wednesday Austin came over before we ate to show Cole his new tricks - he's pulling up now too!

bath time??

Well, Mister Monster is clearly all over the place. And LOVES his bathtime. We lost power this morning and I decided to reorganize some of his clothes in his room. The house was very quiet. If you play the "where is Cole?" game he will usually come find you. However, this did not work for me this morning. So I went looking for him. FOUND in the tub! I have no idea how he got in there with out me hearing him or without bonking his head!
