hotel time

My cousin Scott Lowenberg got married. So we loaded up the truck (morgan included) and headed for Quincy, IL. Cole was not too into his car seat on this leg of the trip..but we made it, finally! We spent some quality hotel time with Mom and Dad and Uncle Kurt and the cousins.

SWIMMING!

I get to teach some swimming lessons this summer to the Nicholas'! Love them! The weather was finally nice enough to stick Cole in the water today for his first swim! He screamed and hated the water until he got used to it! Then he was a trooper and had a great time! I think he got a few drinks of the water too:) whoops!

Everyone is constantly getting together for cook outs and hanging out! and great food!! We are fortunate to have great friends and be invited! We were at Jip and Lynette's for this one:)

Cole is about 2 months younger than Sophia...I have a feeling we are going to go bankrupt from food...if you have extra $$ we are starting a fund to feed him!!

Nana Jean and Aunt Christie Visit

Ryan's Nana Jean and Aunt Christie came for a visit from Sarasota and Dallas! We had a great weekend!! It was so nice to spend some time with them and Cole enjoyed every minute!!

14 weeks

We were lucky enough to be invited to the current river with my brother kurt and sis-in-law rhonda! we had a great time (what we remember of it). like i promised them...next year the captian will not be joining ryan and i.

we stopped in mammoth spring to eat..this was one of the baby ground hogs that we watched.

3 MONTHS / 13 weeks

Cole has been such a great baby this week! We are loving every minute of our sleep! and enjoying him so much. Amazing how quickly he is changing and interacting! As the books say, he is not a newborn anymore:( he is now an infant:) Happy 3 Month b-day baby boy!!

Getting good at sitting in his bumbo. In this gap onesie he is very good at puking, pooping, peeing and spitting up on it. No matter when he wears it, it has something on it! :)

Shit Machine

This little purple exersaucer comes from Kurt and Rhonda.

As many of you know, my dear brother sometimes has some bowel problems...

Like father, like son - when Mylan used to sit in this he would always poop! So they nick-named it the "shit machine"!!

We are proud to have it in our household now! Maybe Kurt can use it the next time he comes to visit, instead of the air mattress! ;)

12 weeks

we are approaching the 3 month mark and i can hardly believe it. ryan left on another trip today and we are trying to get into a rhythm here at home. we are enjoying lots of laughs and giggles and smiles lately!! cole is defintely starting to get spoiled and has got me wrapped around his little finger. dang it! i am trying to be strong though and show him who's boss;) here are his 12 week pics...we bought these shorts when we were in florida and now they fit!

well..at the beginning of the week we thought we were going to get to go to the east coast with Ryan...so we got Cole some earmuffs for the 130 ride. turns out we didn't get to go though:(
