OUTSIDE:)

Cole's girlfriend Avery came over to play this morning! They had a good time together, trying to figure out how to get toys away from each other. We got to play a lot outside. The weather has been so nice in the mornings! Still getting up in the 90's but super cool in the mornings! We are ready for fall!!

Mr. Austin (and Caroline) brought us some lunch, so the kids had another friend to play with! We had a great day of play! Thanks friends!!

Hanging out on the mats-he did so well the for the first day! He was the last to lay down and fall asleep for nap time, but slept for an hour and 1/2! ON A MAT!

deployments-SUCK

Ryan left last week, the 19th. Since then, we've been skyping with him everyday, sometimes multiple times! It's been great to at least see him and chat a little. They have been broke in Cananda this whole time. Thank God for WiFi and just plain internet. I'm positive once he gets to Iraq the connection won't be as good=lots of interrupted conversations and lots of frustration. I just wanted to note on here, how well Cole has taken all this. He has had a lot of trasition this week. Starting a new Mother's Day Out, back into swimming and Raquet Club day care almost daily, and ofcourse Ryan being gone. Whenever we skype he is patient and will sit and talk to Ryan for a minute or so. He gets so excited to see him on the computer:) When we say good bye he will wave to him, blow him kisses and has started kissing the computer screen. Such a sweet boy. SOMETIMES:) Anyway, this breaks my heart and the tears flow each time. I'm looking forward to this deployment being over! One week down, 23 to go.

The past week has been such a rollercoaster. Up and Down! Lot's of tears from me, ofcourse, and then the undecisiveness of the air force does not help the situation. We were told he was to leave at 3am on Thurs. morning. Then they called and said, "show time of 6:30" then they called back and said "show time of 3:30" again. Needless to say it's hard to get a good nights sleep:) The plane broke and he didn't have to be there until 7:30, BUT we were up at the wee hours of the morning trying to figure out what was going on. Such is life. He ended up leaving Arkansas around 12ish and then got stuck in Canada for a week - broken plane:)

1st Hair Cut

After the Farmer's Market, the pool, and a nap, we walked on down to our neighbor Amy's house. She was so kind to give Cole his first hair cut! She rocks. He didn't like it so much:)

After grabbing some fruit at the Farmer's Mkt. We headed to the Raquet Club for a little pool time. Ryan and I took turns swimming laps and had some Cole time too. He LOVES that water! and is not afraid of the slide either:)

Farmer's Market

We shot on down to the farmer's market to get some strawberries and bread! Cole decided he needed to help walk Morgan:) Such a big helper!

Kroger

Out on a Kroger shopping trip, picking up a few items for taco night! Finally got to "drive" the cart:)

The 53rd had a squadron picnic before all the guys left:) They had a pretty good turn out then it decided to storm like no other! DOWNPOUR! So we all waited it out under the shelter house. Afterwards the kids all played in the puddles and the boys joined in some water fun too.

We've had a water leak for about a month and 1/2! After the city telling us it was ground water running into the street, they FINALLY came to fix it. It was an ordeal for Cole and I:) Lots of trucks and about 2 hours of entertainment for him! It was great for me too:):)

They finally put sod down today, you can't even tell they were here! (except that part of our yard looks better:)
