Mom and Dad hosted a fish-fry for a little going away for us. It was so stinking hot and humid...but we had some fun!

Ryan had a going away lunch at Whole Hog. Nice lil lunch. Afterwards we stopped at the West's house to say good bye:( They are the bestest and have been so wonderful to keep our kids whenver...will miss them for sure.

Our sweet, sweet friend Jenny, sent us flowers today, knowing how stressed and sad we are about leaving this week. So thoughtful.

big boy and his "new shoe"- great news is that it's only a lower leg cast (we were told it would be above the knee) and he can walk on it whenever he feels comfortable...not so great news is that now we'll probably be chasing him around the airport:)
he is pretty excited about his new shoe...please nevermind the crazy hair and mis-matched clothes...he's taking full advantage of this leg thing:)

after packing/cleaning/carrying cole around all day - Justin and Lynette came over with some dinner. Afterwards the Hinkles came over and inherited our groceries...so thankful to have someone take a lot of them...throwing all of them away would have made me sick.zoe and cole

He is in much better spirits today. Not saying "momma, hurt me, momma" all the time. He's been sitting up and talking and being himself...just saying "dont' hurt me" when you ask if he needs to sit up or have his diaper changed...he's been pretty tough.

I thought when we had nothing in our house the chances of getting hurt were slim....apparently I was wrong. We were playing on the air mattress and he lost his balance and fell onto his tractor. Hit it just right and broke his tibia. I feel so awful for him:( We had lots of play dates and swimming scheduled for the next 2 weeks...guess we'll go back to ELMO (Ryan's favortie:)
