lake - take 7:)

The Saum's are wonderful wonderful people. Almost every weekend this summer they have been gracious enough to host us on their boat! Us and all the crap that comes with us! This is a cute pic of Cole and Shane catching a quick nap:)

new bedroom

Sitting here typing these posts tonight and thinking about how thankful I am to have all these great memories in this house. I am grateful we get to stay here 2 more weeks, eventhough all of our stuff is mostly gone. We have 2 more moving days...one for our unaccompanied things (some toys, some clothes, sheets and towels-things that we'll get a little earlier than our big shipment) and then a moving day for all of our things that are going into storage. We are having a BBQ/fire on Sunday to say good bye to some friends...so they can bring their kids....hopefully it'll cool off a little before then~not looking forward to the good-byes:(

We are on an airmattress, cole is on a baby mattress from the neighbors and Gabe is still in his pack-n-play. "roughing it" til Germany:) ps.notice sylvie. she only plays at night now. her new home is in the 1/2 bath, i guess:)

jump around

While Cole was at school, Gabe was playing hard too! This pic of him is taken about 3 seconds after this video! TOO funny...jumped himself to sleep! He's really getting into this jumping thing and LOVES it!

"situated"

This morning we got up and instead of running (it's not doing anything for me anyway) we cleaned! and organized. All of our storage stuff, that was in our attic, we moved into the garage. Brought in the chairs from our patio table and set up our dining room table. Ryan said to Cole, "This is the first dinner we've ever had at this table" and he was right. Suppose we should get some chairs for it sometime:)
On a side note, Sylvie was freaking out Tues night and this morning, She has also had a hair ball or something and has been puking and not going to the bathroom. Poor girl. Her under the bed home was taken and she had no place to hide from Cole. I saw her this morning and then when Cole got up...she was gone. We searched and searched all day. Lynette came over and helped me look for her, but we could not find her(Ryan was flying ofcourse). I even went out side and called her after the boys went to bed. Ugh. Finally, I had given up. Sat upstairs crying, not believing that I had lost her after 10 years. Then I heard the downstairs 1/2 bath cabinents open and there she was. I have No idea how she got in there, so so so sosooo happy to have her!! Thank God.~guess that was kind of a long side note, sorry.

last day of school

I can't believe he's been at Trinity Methodist for a year already. It has been such a wonderful wonderful Mother's Day Out program for Cole. We will miss them dearly! Miss Fran and Cole after nap.

Miss Rebuia and Cole. He was in her room until the last 6 weeks this summer. LOVE her:)
Showing me the starfish, with a big ol' cheese grin
This summer they did a beach theme. He came home with a different fish or ocean picture everyday. Today they made a starfish with Cheerios...so cute.
Miss Fran, Clair, Byron, Cole and Miss Melinda

Cole and Miss Marcelina - she was in his room all year. So Sweet!

Standing outside the door. He said "momma let's take pictures"

On our way! He has grown up so much!

We went and got icecream (smoothie) after school today for his treat! Trying to get all our fav's in before we're outta here!

moving day

They boxed and wrapped all they could on Monday....Today they are packing the truck! I hope we find a place big enough in Germany to fit all our CRAP! We probably should have stored more...

Most of our boxes
empty living roomToday was an emotional day for me for some reason. I dropped Cole off at school, he was screaming when I left so I got teared up....and walked away....WITHOUT Gabe. Poor quite child. Now that our things are gone and we are "situated" for another 10 days...I'm much better:)
