Lowenberg Christmas

We haven't gotten to do a Christmas with the Lowenberg's the past few years due to weather and vacations, but we got to this year:) Here's a fam pic!

There is a small rivalry between the Lowenberg's. Missouri vs. Iowa! I'm proud to say IOWA FINALLY didn't pee down their leg and beat the tigers!! wooop whoooppp!! Kurt and Scott had a bet for green fees:) Scott decided he needs to practice up on his putt-putt.

or "NOOOOO" as Cole likes to call it.. We headed back to Kurt's to play today.

we had to run to ft. madison to get Cole's ear rechecked, thankfully it is FINALLY clearing up! only 4 more days of antibiotics! We ran to the store quick to grab Grandma (and eventually Grandpa) some saltines, soup and 7-up. They were puking and not feeling well most of the weekend:(

We stopped by Landan's school to catch the end of his Christmas program! We had bad seats, so I didn't get very good video:( But we were soo happy we could make it and see him "perform"

road trip!

Mom (grandma) flew into Little Rock on Tues evening. We hung out, ran some errands, cleaned a lil and had a good time. Then headed out on the longest road trip we've had yet!

About 2 hours in we decided to try out the DVD player. Well, the monster, who often plays in the truck (while in the garage:) decided to put a few dimes in the cigarette lighter. So he shorted out the fuse. We have blown that fuse before, so we did not have a replacement. It was a long trip for us. Grandpa hooked us up with 5 new fuses when we got home:) hopefully we'll be set when we return to AR.

squad Christmas Party

The 53rd had a great Christmas party this year mostly for the kiddos. Most of our squad is gone, so they did a kids party early and we'll do a post Christmas party for the adults when the guys all get home. Santa made his appearance (with his big belly in his chest:)

Although AR does get some cold weather, we usually don't have to worry too much about hats and coats and mittens everyday. So since we are headed to Iowa soon, we started practicing with the hats:)
